Tennis is BIG in Nassau County!
Congratulations to the Nassau County USTA Jr. Team Tennis Teams, for qualifying for the USTA/FL sectional playoffs!
Yulee Tennis Foundation completed the first Nassau County USTA Jr. Team Tennis season this past Saturday. Team participants are now eligible to compete in the USTA/FL sectional playoffs in Daytona on December 12th.
The Nassau County league had 23 participants from Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Yulee, Callahan, Hilliard, and St. Mary's, Georgia that made up the 4 teams.
Jr. Team Tennis also proved to be a "family affair" with 6 families having 2 siblings each playing in the league.
Team Match results from October 24th, 2009. Team 1 def Team 2 4-2, Team 3 tied Team 4 3-3, Team 4 def Team 1 4-2, Team 2 tied Team 3 3-3.
